How do I get started with Gclap?
Sign up for a free account—no credit card needed. You'll get 25,000 emails per month to start. When you're ready for more, you can upgrade to a paid plan.
Do I need coding skills to use Gclap?
Not at all! Our email builder uses drag-and-drop, so you can create great-looking emails without writing any code. If you are a developer, you'll love our API—it's clean and well-documented.
Can I import contacts from another platform?
Yes! You can import contacts via CSV file. We also have guides for migrating from popular platforms like Mailchimp and SendGrid.
Pricing & Billing
Is there really a free plan?
Yes! The free plan includes 25,000 emails per month, forever. It's not a trial—you can use it as long as you want. We believe you should be able to try before you commit.
What happens if I go over my email limit?
We'll let you know when you're getting close. If you go over, your emails will still send—we won't cut you off mid-campaign. We'll just reach out to discuss upgrading.
Can I change plans anytime?
Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade whenever you need. Changes apply to your next billing cycle, and we prorate if you upgrade mid-cycle.
Do you offer refunds?
If you're not happy within your first 30 days, let us know and we'll refund you. No questions asked.

Can I send both marketing and transactional emails?
Yes! Gclap handles both. Use our campaign builder for newsletters, and our API or SMTP for transactional messages like password resets and order confirmations.
How does email automation work?
You can create workflows that send emails based on triggers—like when someone signs up, makes a purchase, or hasn't visited in a while. It's visual and easy to set up.
What analytics do you provide?
You can see opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes for every email. For campaigns, you can compare performance over time and see which content works best.
Do you have an API?
Yes! Our REST API lets you send emails, manage contacts, and access analytics from any programming language. We provide code examples in Python, Node.js, and more.
Deliverability
How do you ensure my emails get delivered?
We help you set up proper authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), monitor your sender reputation, and follow best practices. We also check against known blocklists.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, and we recommend it. Sending from your own domain builds trust with recipients and improves deliverability. We'll guide you through the DNS setup.
Do you offer dedicated IPs?
Dedicated IPs are included on our Growth plan (1 IP) and Business plan (5 IPs). They're great for high-volume senders who want full control over their sender reputation.
Automation & AI
How do I set up email automation?
Use our visual workflow builder. Pick a trigger (like when someone joins a list), add steps (send email, wait, check conditions), and turn it on. We also have pre-built templates so you can get started quickly.
What can the AI assistant do?
It can write subject lines, draft email content, suggest improvements, translate text, and check your emails for spam triggers. AI features are available on Starter plans and above.
Landing Pages & Forms
Can I create landing pages?
Yes! Build landing pages with our editor, host them on custom domains with SSL, and connect them to your contact lists. You can even add gated content and A/B test different versions.
How do signup forms work?
Create embed forms, popups, or notification bars. Add them to your website with a small code snippet. New signups go straight to your chosen contact list.
Compliance & Privacy
Is Gclap GDPR compliant?
Yes. We have built-in tools for consent management, data export requests, data deletion requests, and subscriber preference centers. You can track when and how each contact gave consent.
Can subscribers manage their own preferences?
Yes! You can set up a preference center where subscribers choose what types of emails they want, how often, and their quiet hours. They can also request their data or ask to be removed.

How can I get help if I'm stuck?
Email us at support@gclap.com. We respond to most messages within a few hours during business hours. Paid plans get priority support.
Do you have documentation?
Yes! We have detailed docs covering everything from getting started to advanced API usage. We also have video tutorials and guides.
Is phone support available?
Phone support is available on our Business plan. For other plans, we offer email support with quick response times.
What is the referral program?
Invite friends to Gclap and earn 5,000 extra emails per month for each friend who signs up and sends their first 100 emails. You can earn up to 50,000 bonus emails from 10 referrals.
